Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SoulKey (the “Service”), operated by SoulKey Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing to the Almanac, purchasing a book, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you (a) are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy; and (c) are authorized to enter into this agreement on your own behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use SoulKey. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are created via Google sign-in; you are responsible for keeping that Google account secure.

SoulKey is an entertainment and self-reflection product. Its readings are generated from traditional interpretive frameworks (Eastern Life Science / Four Pillars astrology) and from AI models that summarize and elaborate on those frameworks. These are subjective, symbolic interpretive systems — not empirically validated predictive tools. We do not claim, and you should not assume, that any reading, forecast, or piece of guidance is accurate, complete, or will reflect real future events.

SoulKey, including “Ask SoulKey AI,” is not:

• legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship;
• financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice;
• medical, psychological, or mental-health advice or treatment;
• a substitute for professional judgment in any matter of legal, financial, medical, or personal significance.

Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making legal, financial, medical, or other significant decisions. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, contact emergency services or a licensed professional immediately — do not rely on SoulKey.

The “Ask SoulKey AI” feature uses third-party AI service providers to generate responses to your questions, informed by your birth chart and reading content. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, generic, or repeat mistakes present in the underlying data; they are provided on an “as-is” basis and are subject to Section 3 above. Do not submit sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information) into the chat.

5.1 Books — one-time purchase. The Life Book, Growth Book, Wealth Book, and Relationship Book are purchased individually as one-time purchases. Each book is generated specifically for you at the time of purchase and delivered immediately as digital content. Prices are shown at checkout and may change going forward; changes will not affect books you have already purchased.

5.2 Almanac — subscription. The Daily Almanac is offered as a recurring monthly subscription. By providing a payment method and subscribing, you expressly authorize us to charge that payment method the subscription price shown at checkout on a recurring monthly basis, until you cancel under Section 5.4. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.

5.3 Payment processing. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Waffo Pancake. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake under its PCI-DSS compliant systems and is not stored on our servers.

5.4 Canceling your Almanac subscription. You may cancel at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@soul-key.com from your registered address. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will keep access until then, and will not be charged again afterward.

5.5 Refunds. Because books are generated and delivered immediately, book purchases are final and non-refundable, except: (a) if you were charged more than once for the same order in error, or (b) if a verified technical failure prevented delivery of the book you paid for. Almanac subscription charges are non-refundable for time already used, except: first-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first charge; duplicate charges caused by a billing error are refunded in full; and a verified service outage of more than 72 hours attributable to us will be refunded or credited on a pro-rated basis. To request a refund, contact support@soul-key.com with your account email and order or subscription details. These exceptions apply in addition to any refund or cancellation right guaranteed to you by applicable law.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact support@soul-key.com before disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer. We aim to respond within 2 business days and to resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service’s underlying models, prompts, or source code;
• submit birth data or other personal information about a third party without their knowledge and consent;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure or security;
• use any input, output, or model response from the Service to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or otherwise develop any AI or machine-learning model that competes, directly or indirectly, with SoulKey;
• systematically scrape, extract, or collect Service outputs at scale for any purpose beyond your own personal, authorized use;
• present AI-generated content from the Service as the work product of a licensed professional (such as a doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor) in any context where that could cause harm.

SoulKey and its content, design, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your own personal use. Reports generated for you may be used for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google (sign-in), Supabase (authentication and data storage), Waffo Pancake (payment processing), and third-party AI providers (generating reading and chat content). Your use of those integrations is also subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY READING, FORECAST, OR AI RESPONSE WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON SOULKEY CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

You may stop using the Service, cancel your Almanac subscription, and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 5, 8, 10, and 11) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
