Privacy Policy

The data controller responsible for your personal information is SoulKey Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You can reach us for any privacy question or request at privacy@soul-key.com.

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

Birth and profile information. To generate your books, we collect the name, gender, birth date, birth time, and birth city you (or, if you choose to add them, someone close to you) provide. This information is used solely to calculate your chart and generate readings — it is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Payment information. Purchases are processed by Waffo Pancake. We do not receive or store your full card or bank account numbers; Waffo Pancake shares with us only what is needed to confirm and record your purchase (such as transaction ID and amount).

Ask SoulKey AI conversations. Questions you send through Ask SoulKey AI, along with relevant chart context, are sent to our third-party AI service provider(s) to generate a response, and may be stored so you can revisit your chat history.

Usage and device information. We may automatically collect standard technical data such as browser type, device information, and general usage patterns to keep the Service working and secure.

• To calculate your chart and generate your Life Book, Growth Book, Wealth Book, Relationship Book, and Almanac;
• To operate Ask SoulKey AI and maintain your chat history;
• To create and secure your account, and process your purchases;
• To communicate with you about your account or purchases;
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate SoulKey, and only as needed for them to perform that function:

• Google — for account sign-in;
• Supabase — for authentication and secure storage of your account and profile data;
• Waffo Pancake — for processing payments;
• Third-party AI providers — for generating your readings and Ask SoulKey AI responses.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SoulKey, our users, or others.

We keep different categories of information for as long as we need them for the purposes described in this Policy:

• Account, profile, and birth information, and Ask SoulKey AI chat history — retained while your account is active, and deleted or anonymized within 30 days of account deletion.
• Transaction and purchase records — retained for 7 years, to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
• Customer support communications — retained for 2 years.

Some records may be kept longer where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your birth and profile information at any time from your account settings, or contact us at privacy@soul-key.com to make a request.

You may also stop using Ask SoulKey AI at any time; this will not delete previously generated responses unless you separately request deletion.

SoulKey is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@soul-key.com and we will delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including relying on established providers (Google, Supabase, Waffo Pancake) for authentication, storage, and payments. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake under its PCI-DSS compliant systems and is not stored on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and any required regulator within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as applicable law requires.

Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure information transferred internationally receives an adequate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
